Military Science (Minor)

Program Purpose

The mission of the Department of Military Science is to train college men and women to become commissioned officers in the US Army, Army National Guard, and/or US Army Reserve. The US Army ROTC program consists of a two-year basic course (freshman and sophomore level) and a two-year advanced course (junior and senior level), which includes a 32-day leadership development and assessment course at Fort Knox, Kentucky prior to the final year.
