Curriculum and Instruction (MAEd)
Program Purpose
The MAEd in Curriculum and Instruction is designed to advance curriculum knowledge, instructional competencies, and methodologies across a range of educational fields. The program currently offers concentrations in English education (9-12), and history/social studies education (9-12) to prepare transformational curriculum and instruction experts in specialized areas. From an extensive range of content, pedagogical, and professional course options, the program aims to allow students to customize a program of study, as well as coordinate coursework with graduate certificate programs, in alignment with their highest career and scholarly aspirations.

C&I MAED candidates conduct content research on topics related to their area of concentration (English education or History/social studies education) and apply it to educational environments.
