Elementary Education (MAEd)
Program Purpose
The Master of Arts in Education (MAEd) in the elementary education program allows completion of an advanced degree for individuals who presently hold an initial teaching license in elementary education. Students enrolled in the MAEd program in elementary education participate in advanced study of academic content, pedagogy, leadership, and research methods. In this program, the MAEd students are required to demonstrate the ability to improve their teaching practice through an individual action research project.
