Public Health (BS)
Program Purpose
The Bachelor of Science program in Public Health (BSPH) prepares graduates to improve the health of individuals and communities through theory-based best practices in health education, health promotion and disease prevention. Graduates work as vital members of health care teams in non-profit organizations, public health departments, and hospitals as well as in local, state and national governmental agencies and private corporations.

Graduates earning a BS degree in Public Health in the Prehealth Concentration will be able to apply public health theory to a public health problem.
Clinical Setting Health Needs Determination
Graduates earning a BS degree in Public Health in the Prehealth Concentration will be able to determine individual health needs for patients in a clinical setting.
Developing a HEP Plan
Graduates earning a BS degree in Public Health in the Community Health Concentration will be able to develop a health education and promotion plan of delivering appropriate strategies or interventions.
Developing an Evaluation HEP Plan

Developing Patient Education Materials
